Notorious pick pocket nabbed in Kampala

By Correspondent

Central Police Station Kampala yesterday nabbed Nsubuga John alias Mbalango on charges of robbery. The suspect was traced and apprehended on William Street after being photographed stealing from pedestrians in the city along Nabugabo and William Streets.

Mbalango on it

Mbalango had succeessfully pick pocketed from two gullible ladies unspecified sums of money before police travced and nabbed him.

So now, you can now read this so that next time you walk around Kampala City you defeat the pick pockets. Top Pub used to be one of my favourite bars/restaurants in town. My friends and I usually came once a week on Friday evenings to listening to the Oldies Music and more great music by popular DJs.

Unfortunately, CCOVID-19 led to end of the business at Top Pub and our madness abruptly stopped. Today, Top Pub which had replaced Sax Pub is no more.  Instead, they have different businesses which attract many goons. Hookers as well as pick pockets galore here.

Anyway, the real reason why we all stopped going there, is that there are pickpockets around the place!! So be very careful if you choose to go there.

Three women stole one of our handbags including wallets, glasses, personal documents and much more. It was planned as they had their Boda Bodas parked outside the bar. They took the bag, run and jumped on their Bodas while the security was totally overstrained and not able to help as all.

Being sure that it was planned, I am certain, that they come there often and just wait for an opportunity.
However, I will not go there again to find out. That’s reason why I can just go to other far places, but not William Street-based hang-outs. The location is nice, it is in the city centre, but infested with goons/pick pockets.
