Was Lt.Gen. Kainerugaba’s official car shot at?

The Naguru based Next Media company that owns NBS television has distanced itself from the news that alleged that Lt. Gen. Kainerugaba’s official car was shot at.

The Social media was last evening,  Sunday 22th August 2021,  filled with news of Lt.Gen. Kainerugaba’s official car being shot at.

The post attached to NBS TV that made rounds on different social media platforms alleged that the new commander of Land forces, Lt.Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s official car was shot at  in Munyonyo.

The posts also alleged that several motorists were fatally wounded as the shooters engaged the Army General’s lead security car.

However, NBS television through their social media handles have urged the public to disregard the information stressing that it was not posted on any of their social media platforms.

“Please disregard this screenshot about Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba making rounds on social media. It wasn’t posted on any of our social media platforms”, NBS post read.  This news comes at a time when the country  is mourning three UPDF Generals in just three weeks.
