Hon. Kato Lubwama the Rubaga North Member of Parliament (MP) has blasted Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi MP Kyadondo East over indiscipline.

Lubwama told Kyagulanyi that his indiscipline is not new. ” I was your first manager when you started singing therefore I know you,” Lubwama asserted.

He continued, ” It is this indiscipline that has failed all of you in the music industry, making the industry stagnant.”

Lubwama said he was not surprised that Cute Kaye was in such state! ” Ugandan artistes don’t want to be managed. They are chaotic and violent, this kind of disorganisation does not favour their business,” Lubwama explained.

He further told Kyagulanyi that because of his indiscipline he will never support his ideas. The Rubaga North MP said that this indiscipline won’t favour Kyagulanyi’s political career.

Lubwama, an actor/comedian turned into politician, did not stop at assuring Hon. Kyagulanyi, he also revealed what destroyed Eagles Production Band.

Greed and indiscipline have led to destruction of the band. Members of the band did not listen to their managers and they wanted to do more than one business, which led to the failure of the “milking cow” the band.

Lubwama also said that if the Ugandan artistes do not respect their managers, they will all end up stealing car lights.

He said some prominent artistes often beat up their managers. ” What kind of celebrities do we have? An indiscipline lot,” charges Lubwama.

“Ugandan artistes should know that Uganda is not America. Therefore, some of the behaviours they copy from American artistes are not applicable here,” explains Lubwama.

He said it is exaggerated fame that misguides these fellows, which makes them mess up everything.

The legislator said that the little money they get whenever one chances on a hit, they misuse it, consume drugs and they end up being public nuisance. In fact, he said they should always be charged with being public nuisance!
