All the three NUP flag bearers from Sembabule have withdrawn

All the three (3) National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearers from Sembabule district’s Mawogola North, Mawogola south and Lwemiyaga have withdrawn from the race of parliament positions of the above constituencies leaving NRM flag bearers to compete against NRM independents.
The trio has joined Miss Nabawanuka of NUP who withdrew from Sembabule Woman MP race leaving NRM’s Begumisa unopposed.
The defectors crossed with their campaign managers and handed over NUP party cards and register to Sembabule NRM boss Hon Sam Kuteesa. They also repainted their office in Matete yellow colours and praised President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for being a God sent!
So far, 22 NUP flag bearers out of the 79 they fielded countrywide have withdrawn from the race of parliamentary elections.
In Sembabule, there is no NUP candidate now!
Meanwhile the Electoral Commission (EC) Chairman, Justice Simon Byabakama has said processions and physical campaigns have been suspended in Kampala, Masaka, Mukono, Jinja Mbarara, Kabarole, and Kalungu due to the increasing cases of COVID-19.
Kasule Dan Babadi says, “When Ugandans asked the EC to postpone the elections they claimed everything is in control and elections will be successful amidst Covid-19. I think everything was put into considerations and they knew very well that such a situation was going to happen. So can we say that this was the plan B for EC to stop the spread of Covid-19 in Uganda.
This shows us that Simon Byabakama and team are not credible enough in leading this years generation elections…..( Kibulamu).
Amanya Gibson’s view is: We no longer have an election and the IEC is no longer in charge but the EC is in control a lot transpired before including my illegal nullification now they have resorted to indirectly suspending 2021 election.
How can we hold an election without campaigns all these districts and cities mentioned have contenders on different levels from councilors to presidents.
EC Byabakama had better resign or declare no election than this kind of deception.
We are watching you on every step you take and you are accountable of it keep this in mind you are dealing with the 21st century generation of which most of us are informed and never will you move freely judgment is coming no matter how it may be delayed by the barbarian’s regime but finally it will prevail.
Some times I wonder which type of COVID-19 are we having in Uganda, Tanzania’s election took place successfully without this nonsense, Burundi conducted it’s election without this nonsense and Kenya is holding it’s campaigns without this nonsense who bewitched us.
Oh Lord save my Country our leaders are no longer leaders but misleaders, religious leaders are no longer leaders but dealers.
