AYA Hotel boss moving to zero

Eversince the overthrow of Sudan former president Gen Bashir all has not been well for city tycoon Hamid,

Friends and relatives are closely monitoring the movements of the Executive chairman of AYA Investments Uganda Limited Mohammad Hamid with his financial troubles deepening.

Sources close to the embattled tycoon revealed that after losing his entire empire registered under AYA Investments Uganda Limited, he fears that even those properties registered in his names are likely to go especially his multi-billion Kololo mansion.

Roko Construction Company Uganda Limited is in the final preparation to attach and put Hamid’s home on auction to recover their money from Hamid.

According to Court documents, in 2005, Hamid entered into a contract agreement with Roko Construction Company Uganda Limited to construct a residential house at Plot 43B Windsor close Kololo Kampala city at a total amount of Shs.1,100,000,000.

Court documents show that when Hamid failed to pay, Roko petitioned the Arbitration of the East African Institute of Architects and Hamid was ordered to pay Shs584,430,571 for the work done together with interest at 18% per annually from the date of filling the arbitration till payment in full.
