Ugandans who owe the needy alms include

Aloysiuos Bugingo and his wive and daughter, they own Canaan land

In this emergency period of Covid-19 pandemic, we bring you names of Ugandans who owe the needy alms. This is according to Social Responsibility Theory.

Social responsibility is an ethical theory, in which individuals are accountable for fulfilling their civic duty; the actions of an individual must benefit the whole of society. In this way, there must be a balance between economic growth and the welfare of society and the environment.

In simple terms or leyman’s language, it is believed these people got their wealth by exploiting taxpayers. They include:

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo. The House of Prayers International Ministries owner; proprietor and senior pastor, milked the needy of their hard-earned cash in the name of buying land, which he nicknamed Canaan land, but registered it in his name, wife and daughter.

He also milked them in the name of building a pentagon-like church building, which he has halted over wrangles of property sharing with his official wife. Therefore, the sh 12 billions the needy contributed for Canaan land, Mr. Bugingo Aloysius should get some percentage and give alms to the needy Ugandans.

Aloysius Bugingo should be example of the rest of modern preachers; the prosperity preachers who include Robert Kayanja; David Kiganda; Jackson Ssenyonga, Joseph Sseruwadda; Wilson Bugembe, Lwere and others.

Buganda Kingdom. This establishment bothered Ugandans so much as it collected Etofaali; the Katikiro (Prime Minister) went around the country asking for etofaali and people complied. Even during the Masilo crisis, people contributed. Today, the establishment shouldn’t wait to be reminded.

Sudhir Ruparelia: During the 1990s he started a lottery business that actually got him in  habits of stealing from poor Ugandans.  The Premier Lottery (takula ofune) helped him to start Crane Bank, which also worked as Kafunna (a loan shackle) that left many Ugandans in tears and they are now needy.
