CON-MEN FLEECE GULLIBLE HOLIDAY MAKERS USING CAPITAL SHOPPERS’ JOB-LINE

Wicked Ugandan conmen have fleeced student holiday makers of millions of cash using Capital Shoppers jobline (a chain of supermarkets in Kampala). The goons promise gullible students juicy jobs before they trick them to wire money online and on mobile money.

The conmen on loose include a one Solomon Agaba, who claims to be a supervisor of Capital Shoppers located on Ntinda –Stretcher Road. He uses 0758210376 which is registered in his name. Another goon is known as Paul Mukooza, uses 0758148729. The third goon is known as Joseph Kiiza, is on 0755143489. Paul Mukooza also uses 0783627583; he claims to work in Tropical Bank to help clients open express bank accounts.

The goons assure their victims that they will register them for jobs in Capital shoppers, whereby sh600,000 is expected to be earned, according to conmen’s wolox (yapping). On exciting unsuspecting holiday makers, the conmen trick students to wire money on mobile money, claiming that they need to give them tags and health insurance cards etc They also go ahead to ask for money to open up express bank accounts, but all these are tricks to defraud gullible holiday makers.

Officials at Capital Shoppers say they receive several complaints of such nature on daily basis. They reported this incident to police but have not been helped. The Drones have been set to capture this illicit trade of the Kampala goons. If anybody comes across information related to such illicit acts, he/she should help the public and inform police or The Drone Media.
