Hotels in China close out Ugandans

They are here showing off; displaying wads of dollars yet aware that what they caused in China is affecting innocent travellers/ traders.

Exclusive information reaching at The Drone Media, indicate that hotels in China have denied Ugandans accomodation.

These individuals applied for a visa to travel to China,  and the visa was given and they happily travelled.

Everything went on smoothly; at the airport they were allowed to proceed and enter the country (China), however after they arrived at their hotel they were bounced.

Receptionists told them how they couldn’t check them into their hotel particularly if they were holding Ugandan and Nigerian passports respectively.

“These are the orders that police have given to everyone running a hotel here in Guangyuan Xilu part of Guangzhou, and should you fail to comply then you risk closure. Indeed a couple of hotels have been closed,” explains one of the receptionists.

And for restaurants almost all that were selling African foods were closed whether owned by Africans or Chinese. To make matters worse even those that serve Chinese foods are not willing to serve Africans.

This source was also denied service at this particular Chinese restaurant where he had been a frequent client each time is in China. He had to walk around and look for some other place to have a meal.

“So you find yourself in a situation where you have neither where to sleep nor where to eat. The police ask you to move some miles away from this market center in order to book a hotel, it’s quite terrible,” laments our source.

But one would ask why particularly target Ugandan and Nigerian passport holders??

Information from the Chinese authorities indicate that a number of Nigerian Nationals who have been arrested in the act of drug trafficking are holding Ugandan passports.

So they say it’s now difficult for them to tell whether those holding Ugandan passports are truly Ugandans or Nigerians but masquerading as Ugandans. This is what is happening here in Guangyuan Xilu part of Guangzhou.

Imagine we have officials of ministry of internal affairs who are busy minting money by selling passports to criminals and drug traffickers.

It is because of them that it is becoming very difficult for many Ugandans who go to China for business to survive.

In fact these Chinese have already black listed Ugandans just because some money hungry individuals at the passport office are busy selling passports.
