Flights to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park launched
EARLIER TODAY at the press launch for scheduled flights to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Fly Uganda, a subsidiary of Kampala Executive Aviation.
Flights begin this Friday from Kajjansi Airstrip to Kihihi Airstrip, an hour from Buhoma, one of the most popular sectors of Bwindi, which is home to approximately half of the world’s mountain gorillas.

They will be weekly flights on each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday leaving Kajjansi at 07:30am.

There are several beautiful national parks in Uganda each unique in their own way. However Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park offers a truly unforgettable safari experience. Accessible only on foot‚ the park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site providing a habitat for 120 species of mammals‚ 348 species of birds‚ 220 species of butterflies‚ 27 species of frogs‚ chameleons‚ geckos‚ and many other species. But it is most famous for the 400 Bwindi gorillas‚ half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas.
