Minister’s car crashes student’s metalic suitcase

By Drone Staff
A student at Budo Secondary School is still crying over his crashed metalic suitcase that was crashed by an official car for Minister of State for Bunyoro Affairs, Hon Jenipher Kacha Namuyangu, also Jennifer Namuyangu Byakatonda.
A concerned parent who did not want to be mentioned took a picture of the car and thereafter wrote this:
“We took kids to Budo Secondary School today and just witnessed something that saddened us. The driver of this Minister drives into a school like a rogue, knocked and smashed a child’s suitcase and the body guard and the driver left behind sh10,000 i.e.10k and drove off. Really! Left a child with no suitcase, grab, personal effects. Impunity and a shame. UG 0915Z. Banange who is this Minister because my bitterness can’t let me sleep. I need justice for this child.”
Now, The Drone Media has positively identified the minister. The Minister who drives this car Reg No UG 0915Z ,  is Hon Jennifer Namuyangu, State Minister for Bunyoro Affairs. Her errant driver ran over a student’s metalic suitcase at Budo Secondary School crashing the suitcase and its contents!

Unfortunately the bodyguard and driver just left 10k with the crying student and drove off. The public is mad! They are vomiting fire! Saying this car belongs to some State Minister in OPM! They have called upon the Rt. Hon Prime Minister to investigate this matter and bring these dishonorable people to book and cause justice to the innocent student.  They also request H.E to drop such folks from Cabinet!

It had become common practice in Kampala for some drivers, especially those using Government registered vehicles, to drive on the wrong side of the road, in violation of traffic rules.

Last year, the Traffic Police began cracking the whip and stopped several vehicles for being on the wrong side of the law.

Remember an army truck that was going the wrong way knocked and killed a man on Binaisa Road in Mulago. Binaisa Road like many others in Kampala is clogged with traffic during peak hours. This is the same situation on Bombo Road leading into Kampala in the morning while in the evening, the jam is on the roads leading out of town. Since then, errant drivers checked their traffic manners.
