Mob lynches former Flying Squad operative

Former Flying Squad operative one Fred Katongole has been lynched to near death after the mob got him red handed robbing in a taxi around Wankulukuku.

This Katongole Fred is a resident of Namungoona, he was a friend to the late Kato Pius and Henry Majwega who were both killed in action at Bweyogerere and Kasangati in 2012 and 2014 respectively.

Both of them dealt in circulation of counterfeit currency notes both shillings and dollars,robbery, and stealing motorcycles.

All these worked for flying squad as operatives whereas on the other hand they were serial robbers commanded by Faisal Katende (facing criminal charges in court martial ) , and Fred Kiwana (also killed in action in Ndeeba).

If you can recall properly these are the things I used to fight long time ago but the police family had consistently chosen to defend them until all of them have either been killed by the very police or by the mob or imprisoned by the military.

You can also recall the incident in October 2014 when the then police PRO madam Judith Nabakooba (Hon) was beaten by criminals, still it was Fred Katongole who was arrested and charged with robbery while a gun was also recovered from his home in Namungoona, Luyinja.

He was detained for three years but upon return his in-law called Mutyaba took him to Herbert Muhangi and they enlisted him into flying squad just like other 50 criminals were also recruited.

This kind of engagement of criminals into police work made it easy for crime to escalate and unless all.of them are traced and arrested and charged , we are still to hear kidnaps and sophisticated crimes as these criminals are still protected by their friends in the crime intelligence and flying squad.

As we talk now, crime preventers are still attached to all police stations in Kampala and surroundings whereas they had been ordered to vacate and be in the reserve of the UPDF, this means that the change we crave for is far from being near.

Many kawukuumi agents have vowed to disobey the command of the current IGP thru antagonising him.

However we shall keep exposing them until when they will have no where to hide.
As we talk now the suspect is at Wankulukuku police station but they are planning to release him.

Meanwhile Kamada Kayizzi is on the run since he was arrested in charges of stealing a vehicle in Nansana last week but while Flying Squad was transporting him to speak he allegedly escaped from them whereas he was their operative as well for over 20 years. So he was just helped to run away.

This and others are signs that security still needs God’s intervention and involvement of the state if things are to get any better.
Officers at various levels are yet to think patriotic. Remember all the thugs and their police friends whom I mentioned five years ago are in trouble as we talk now yet they were using police structures to defend themselves, this is known by all but they could not take risk to lose their offices and bread to speak against evil however some of us did so and here we are.

Take note that crime in the country has been facilitated by that group and their associates for very many years while under protection. That’s is the bitter truth.
