Mushorero Community School breaks ground

The ground breaking for Mushorero Community School  was presided over by the Diocesan Secretary, Rev. Gad Ngyemura.

Today 20th January 2023, the Diocesan Secretary of the Diocese of Kinkiizi graced the ground breaking ceremony for the Mushorero Community Primary School Project, a function he conducted on behalf of the Bishop Dan Zoreka.

Mushorero is located in Kayonza Sub county in Bujengwe Parish all located in the Archdeaconary of Nyamiyaga.

Rev. Gad Ngyemura the efforts portrayed by Hon. Frank Byaruhanga who spearheaded the starting of this Community Project. Hon. Frank commonly known as Fara-Weitu approached the Diocese of Kinkiizi Administration seeking for land on which this project can shelter.

It is expected that Hon. Frank Byaruhanga will sponsor the entire project in which a three classroom block plus a ventilated Pit latrine will be construction

This project is expected to benefit all the natives of this area as well as the neighborhood residents in the greater Kayonza Sub county.

The Nyamiyaga Archdeacon, Rev. Can Benon Nkwasibwe praised the visionary leadership that displayed by the Kanungu District Local Council in which Hon. Frank serves as the Speaker, Chaired by the LC5 Chairman Eng. Sam Kajojo. Can. Nkwasibwe further appealed to the Kanungu District Leaders to continue in partnership with the Diocese of Kinkiizi in all service delivery activities.

A group leveling tractor was also in place ready to start off the works of construction for this Primary School Project that is going to be constructed on the Mushorero Sub-Parish church land.

In other news, the DS proceeded to Kirenzi Prayer Mountain on which a one day fasting for Priests, Layreaders and the entire Christian community had gathered to pray and seek the face of the Lord.

Led by the Diocesan Missions and Evangelism Coordinator, Rev. Godfrey Byamukama called upon the believers to earnestly seek the grace of Jesus Christ now that it’s still available.

Diocesan Missioner accompanied by the Subdean of St. Peter’s Cathedral-Nyakatare, the Very Rev. James Kabagambe delivered powerful healing and Deliverance moment for the faithful who had climbed up the Kirenzi Prayer Mountain with various sicknesses.
