No Impending coup in Uganda as falsely reported on social media

By Our Correspondent

There is a rumour of an attempted coup in Uganda, truth is that No such thing is happening and no radio message was released last night to that effect.

An online blog Spy Report posted in an article that the president had put the CMI boss in charge of security in Kampala, this is not true. Kampala is still under Uganda Police Administration headed the KPM. Yes president can occasionally delegate specialised duties to his security chiefs but this should not interfere with the setup.

The blog goes on to contradict and say Brig. Kanduho ordered a joint operation Center at CPS, how can this happen CMI boss has no power to command the use of police facilities, Sabiti and Kanduho are at the same rank, Sabiti being the Deputy IGP has a big budget and power to make such orders.

This post was aimed at creating confusion and division between the army and police in managing security of Kampala, the blog is formerly funded by Muhangi and Kayihura, the article itself was author by a one Kagame whose origin is known to many.

Having released Kayihura on Bail, there is worry that insecurity may return to Kampala, this explains why operations are taking place to arrest all Rwandan agents that were left out, Kayihura apologist where asked to explain why his arrest caused the dramatic decrease in crime.

There are operations being carried out to clean the nation from Kawukimi (Rwandan backed agents) and these are carried out by a joint task force that comprises of ISO, CMI and Police. What is known is that the president gave a go ahead to arrest all those suspected of corroborating with Rwanda.

DMI (Directorate of Military Intelligence for Rwanda) has now shifted base to Nairobi and is busy recruiting Kenyans of Rwandese Origin to carry out missions in Uganda using Kenya as their base. Ugandan Ministers are warned not to enter Kenya without protection and diplomatic notice.
