Security arrests another police suspect

Security Services yesterday arrested two more notorious police officers involved in crime.

Wilson Atekateka who appears number nine on ICC list of police officers involved in kidnapping, execution and illegal deportation of Rwandan refugees was released on bail and rearrested by high trained commandos.

Wilson who was in Luzira prisons on aggregated robbery case in which he stole at gun point gold from a gold businessman was yesterday given bail by Court after 27 million shillings appeared from nowhere in court, it’s believed that his bail was arranged with the state prosecutor after receiving good payment from a foreign county.

A snoop says Wilson is a high risk suspect who is desperate, Rwanda knows that keeping him in Luzira would be risky since the army was looking for witnesses in crimes committed.

He would be a possible witness due to his direct participation if provided a release deal.

Another arrested goon is Ahaisibwe Herbert who was Nickson’s body guard before his arrest, Ahaisibwe Herbert knows the inside of Nickson and crimes in Kampala.

Security believes that after Nickson’s arrest Ahaisibwe Herbert was still deployed to take care of Nicksons businesses by Kale Kayihura; this business included collecting money from Nickson’s victims of extortion.

Well, the situation is getting tougher on criminals’ side.  Many who are not yet arrested think of going to exile, which is the only option those criminals have in Kampala otherwise their network is being dealt with effectively.

A source intimates that the list of criminals is fat. It includes the so called crime preventers, who were actually crime executors.

Remember the goon known as Sobi, the thug would boast of extra powers given by the “Above”. The man, Sobi was a leader of a criminal gang known as ‘Kifesi’. These are petty criminals terrorising Kampala. Surprisingly, the Kifesi are known by police!
