When president Yoweri Museveni ate posho at MUK

One of the stories The Drone Media picked interests in was this one that reveals President Museveni one day visiting the university and held a meeting.

As is the norm, the University administration had organized lunch for guests. The President did not go to the room where the ‘special lunch had been set. He walked towards the students who had been served posho and beans and were heading to their rooms. He had lunch with the students. The photo is the evidence.

the photo shows the  president enjoying ‘murram’ at Makerere University in the early 90s. Murram is what students have for decades christened the daily university meal of posho and beans.

For lack of space we shall not run other photos, but there is a photo showing  the president visiting local furniture and even buying a mazongoto ( bed). He thereafter discouraged Ugandans from importing furniture. President Museveni emphasized that Ugandans should always support local carpenters.

Now, The Drone Media would like to ask His Excellency whether he still buys from local carpenters and he should always invite The Drone Media to witness and encourage other Ugandans. If he stopped he should also tell The Drone Media what the problem was.
