Who bewitches West Nile female ministers?


Evelyn Annite has joined Bakoko Bakoru former minister  of Gender and Labour in exile in US.

Bakoko was accused of embezzling NSSF money.
Annite is  now accused of stealing 28 billon from an investor.

The State Minister for Investment and Privatization Evelyn Anite last week resigned, handling over
the office to the State Minister of Finance for Planning – David Bahati.

sources say, the vocal Koboko Municipality MP was reportedly asked to resign following a series of alleged scandals, but the mother of all, is said to be the UTL bribe.

A claim Anite has passionately denied.
However, recently, local media reported that the highest office is said to have been presented with evidence including recordings on the same.

Anite who shoot to the limelight in 2014 when she asked the president to continue to offer himself as the sole NRM party chairman and flagbearer [for the 2016 presidential elections], her ‘departure’ remains a secret and has been camouflaged as move for further studies abroad.

UTL bribe saga
Reports indicates while Anite was allegedly involved in several bribery scandals, a claim she has denied even before the president, her ‘enemies’ are said to have gathered credible evidence against her.
It said, that, Anite reportedly received a bribe from Mauritius Telecom to win the UTL deal. Unconfirmed sources say, after receiving the bribe, Anite [ who by then was in good books with Bemanya Twebaze, the UTL Administrator] asked him to ensure that the Mauritius firm wins the UTL deal.

The news of Anite’s ‘departure’ was reportedly received with celebrations at the Ministry of Finance. It is said, Anite was key in reporting corrupt officials to the highest office. In fact it is said, she played a key role in the arrest of the Ministry of Finance Commissioners who were arrested red handled taking a bribe from investors last year.
