A few years ago, Goodra Tumusiime reportedly sold Avemar shopping arcade on Luwum Street to a one Ntake at sh10bn, but The Drone Media has learnt that after Goodra got sh56bn from government went back to regain avemar. Mbu Ntake reportedly told her, ” Bring sh14bn and i surrender your Avemar.” Can you imagine!
Goodra is reportedly constructing a mall that she intends to put a supermarket. However, she chose a wetland which has proved costly because it is taking too much cement and she is not advised by her engineers.
How Behakanira died

When Joseph Behakanira emerged out of the Public Accounts Committee on a Thursday afternoon, he walked with a limp. For the man who had earlier entered the committee room full of energy and fielded a barrage of questions from MPs with confidence, this was an indication that he was not fine.

But before he left the room, he had struggled to stand up, apparently because his left leg was paralysed. He remained seated for a while inside the room as the lawmakers and journalists streamed out.

Fifteen minutes later, CID cops attached to PAC fetched him to explain a few issues related to the $1.3 million the government advanced him in the run up to the 2007 CHOGM held in Kampala.

That was when he managed to struggle out of his chair. The proprietor of Avemar Shopping Arcade in Kampala and J&M Hotel at Bwebajja looked tired and exhausted. Three days later, the sad demise of the soldier-turned businessman, whose J&M Airport Hotel was given $1.3 million (Shs 2.4bn) three days to CHOGM, was announced.
