Pastor Wilson Bugembe gives a divine advice to Bobi Wine

By Staff Reporter

Light the World Church, Nansana’s Pastor Wilson Bugembe has said Bobi Wine aka Robert Kyagulanyi should accept defeat because the country is at peace and that is all people want.

“Bobi Wine is my friend but he should accept defeat. The country is at peace and that is all we all want,” advised Pastor Bugembe.

However, this is a fact the National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters have not swallowed. As usual, they are piling insults onto the amiable Pastor Bugembe, yet this is a divine advice.

Pastor Bugembe’s divine advice correlates with what NRM Vice Chairperson for Eastern Uganda Captain Mike Mukula has observed and said. Mukula blasted elected members of parliament belonging to NUP, which depicts double standards.

He observed that the elected MPs are disputing the Presidential Elections results while jubilating about their parliamentary election results, yet both polls were held on the same day; following the same procedures.

Nobody, among the elected MPs of NUP disputes the seats they obtained in the central region. Mukula says he would be humbled if the 61 MPs of NUP stepped aside and not be sworn in this coming May. This is when you can confirm the election was not free and fair.

After swearing in May this year, the NUP MPs will be the biggest opposition syndicate in Uganda having won more parliamentary seats than any other opposition counterpart, but they only accept it where they won. They sound pet, not serious.

Party officials have been heavily celebrating and chest thumping about the big wins in the parliamentary polls although they maintain the elections were not free and fair.

It is against this background that Mukula called them out to first step aside from the opposition they have been elected in so that they can castigate the whole election process.
