Senegalese -American business investor and musician Akon will arrive in Uganda tomorrow with his wife Rozina Negusei. Akon’s wife, Negusei says if all goes well, the singer may end up setting up another Akon City in Uganda.

Negusei was in Uganda in February this year; she is returning to concretize what she started while she was here. Negusei was reportedly invited to Uganda by East African Partners (EAP) managing director, Isaac Kigozi. Along with her came a group of Turkish investors, who visited a few government departments, agencies, and private sector establishments.

Rozina Negusei who is also the President and CEO of Zanar Entertainment, Entreeg Records & Entreeg Entertainment Group, said the investment would be for five years. Negusei visited Uganda to explore business opportunities in the country.

While in Ugnda, Negusei visited President Yoweri Museveni and had this to say, “I was pleased to meet such an honourable, genius leader and a walking library. He called me a daughter and gave me a name, Estella Ihangwe. It was amazing to be in the presence of such a knowledgeable leader. I have met several leaders, but President Museveni is exceptionally knowledgeable. You guys are lucky to have such a leader. Seriously, you won’t realize it until he is no longer here,” she reportedly said.

“The West told Libya that Gadaffi was a dictator. The Libyans believed them and destroyed their own country. Open your eyes, do not believe everything the west tells you,” she admonished.
