Ziza Bafana says bye to poverty

Ziza Bafana aka Richard Kasendwa counts himself lucky. The Drone Media has gathered that last month, September, 2021, Ziza Bafana successfully held a meeting with the Chief Coordinator of OWC (Operation Wealth Creation) Gen. Caleb Akandwanaho popularly known Salim Saleh in Gulu.

In the meeting, Ziza Bafana and his team were able to articulate issues affecting Uganda’s music industry, which seemed genuine and convinced Gen Saleh, who reportedly kept on nodding throughout the meeting. Sources at OWC intimated that he honestly told Gen Saleh that his music is popular, but does not make money in Uganda.

Ziza Bafana revealed to Gen Saleh that Ugandan artistes are forced to sing anti-government songs because they catapult them onto the top. In other words, artists are forced by hard situations to hate the ruling government.

He reportedly said his music sell more in West Africa, South Africa, America and Europe. Upon saying that, mbu Gen Saleh asked him, ” What should OWC do for you?” That is when he presented his proposal of market research and promotional tours to South Africa, of which Gen Saleh agreed to finance. The Drone Media gathered that Gen Saleh asked how much he needed to achieve his goals, but because in the meeting there was Ragga Dee aka Daniel Kazibwe and Okello Okello, Ziza Bafana opted to give figures later using an email.

This meeting had other visitors from USA and the Vice President of Angola.  The Drone Media also gathered that he had sh3m hotel bills, which Gen Saleh cleared and covered their fuel.

Richard Kasendwa aka Ziza Bafana started his professional music career in 2011 and he has never looked back hence becoming one of the best new school artists. Not very many artists of this generation stand out artistically but he is proving to be a master of his unique dancehall music.
