I love how President Yoweri Tubuhaburwa Museveni Kaguta evaporates peoples’ egos. It is amazing how the youngest female Minister and only Princess in Parliament and Cabinet, the beautiful Hon Persis Namuganza was chosen to deliver Ugx50 million from President Museveni, to Sserinya Parish, Bukomansimbi District!

She is already in Masaka City! This must be hurting to few of her foes and their associates. Never joke with Hon Namuganza, she is insulated. Those who knock on her bakomgojja! They get hurt. Is there any other sign that those with inflated egoes, punctuated with exaggerated self -importance are looking for?

Big is big. President Yoweri Museveni recently donated Ugxs50m towards the construction of Sserinya parish priests’ house in Buwunga Sub-County Masaka Archdiocese.

The Ugx50m package was delivered by Hon. Persis Namuganza, the minister of state for lands, housing and urban development on behalf of the President.

Hon. Namuganza thanked the church for complementing government programs like Parish Development and promised to deliver the church’s gratitude to the fountain of honour.

Eng Joseph Ssewava who is the Head political mobilisation in the office of the Presidency, thanked President Museven for forging unity among Ugandans and encouraged the people to support NRM anti poverty programs. The Bishop thanked Hon Namuganza for being Humble and serving above self.

Meanwhile the Legislators tasked by parliament to investigate whether the minister of state for housing Persis Namuganza has a case to answer, are now writing their report. The chairperson of the committee Mwine Mpaka says they will submit the report to the presiding officer on Friday without Namuganza’s defence. Mwine argued that Namuganza failed on three occasions to appear before the committee.

It all started with probe into alleged Naguru estate land bonanza where she was accused of impropriety, which later morphed into alleged slander against parliament and its leadership with inflated ego.
