Prime Minister asked to investigate Entebbe International Airport over protested COVID-19 results

In the last 3 months, Ministry of Health tested 18000 people who arrived through Entebbe and 318 turned out positive.

But on 23rd August at 745am, Uganda airlines plane arrived with passengers from Nairobi, they removed samples from them and they gave all of them positive results.

They all protested saying they had been tested in Kenya before boarding plane and went to test in another testing center, all were negative. The Prime Minister has been asked to investigate it.

Anyways, locally, Ministry of health is testing about 4000 daily and 700 turnout positive and yes all the variants are in the country already.

This means, we need all efforts directed to the local population, the biggest threat is internal and we all have to be careful. We need to be more careful.

The major fight isn’t on all other many borders but Entebbe airport. People cross those borders daily but clearly not much interest because those can’t pay much.
